Target Users & Spaces
Design for the Actual User, Not a Vague “Adult Size” Label
For Couples and Two-Person Use
Prioritize comfortable internal length, shared storage details and a product footprint that can fit a small backyard
or ground-level apartment patio. A couples pool can use one wide bench, two corner seats or a clean open-floor design.
For Tall Adults
Publish internal dimensions and seating orientation. Outside length can be misleading when thick air walls reduce the
usable area. Prototype review should check knee position, backrest height and whether users can enter without collapsing the rim.
For Heavier Adults
Avoid untested phrases such as “for heavy adults.” A responsible specification uses verified seat loads, total occupancy,
seat width, wall stiffness and entry instructions. Product copy should communicate tested limits clearly and respectfully.
For Relaxation, Soaking and Cooling
Adult inflatable soaking pools and relaxation pools are generally positioned for seated immersion, conversation and
cooling—not lap swimming or diving. The intended activity should appear consistently in the product name, photography,
packaging and instructions.
