Which properties should a D6878 TPO report address?

Not every TPO sheet is automatically an ASTM D6878 product
D6878 is written around reinforced TPO sheet roofing. That makes the construction definition important before a buyer asks for compliance.
Reinforced roof field membrane

How to verify an “ASTM D6878 compliant” supplier claim
Do not approve a bulk order from a website sentence or brochure icon alone. Move from claim to evidence in a controlled sequence.
Identify the exact product grade
Record membrane name, construction, nominal thickness, reinforcement type, color and any backing or adhesive layer. Compliance evidence should match the offered product, not a different family member.
Check the standard edition

Six ways ASTM-based TPO purchasing goes wrong
1. Accepting “meets ASTM” without an edition
Specifications change. Tie the RFQ and evidence package to the contractually required edition.
2. Buying by thickness alone
