Tarp MOQ: Minimum Order Quantity for Custom & Wholesale Tarps
Tarp MOQ is not one fixed number. It changes with material availability, color, width, coating formula, finished size, fabrication, printing and packaging.
For DERFLEX PVC tarpaulin programs, a common wholesale reference is about 1,000 m² per color or specification. Selected standard-material trial quantities may be discussed at lower volumes, while custom colors, widths, performance formulas and finished tarp programs can require a different production minimum.
MOQ is a production constraint, not only a sales rule.
A tarp order can contain several independent minimums. The practical order floor is usually controlled by whichever requirement creates the largest viable production batch.
Practical MOQ ≈ the highest applicable minimum from material batch, color/formula setup, fabrication setup, printing/label setup and packing requirements.

A buyer asking for one blue 650 gsm PVC roll is not creating the same production task as a distributor requesting three custom colors, or an OEM brand ordering finished tarps with hems, grommets, logo printing and retail cartons. Each program uses different materials, machine setup and conversion work.
This is why a useful tarp MOQ quotation should state the basis clearly: square meters, rolls, pieces, per color, per specification or per packaging design. Product format matters
Roll MOQ and Finished Tarp MOQ Are Not the Same Thing
Roll goods are usually planned by area, roll width, color and one material specification. Finished custom tarps add a second layer: cutting yield, seam overlap, reinforcement, grommets, accessories, labor and packing. A 1,000 m² material batch therefore does not automatically equal a fixed number of finished tarps.
